Privacy
Your privacy matters to me. This page says in plain words what is collected and why.

Visit statistics
- I use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to learn which articles are read and how the site is used.
- These tools record things like the pages viewed, device and browser type, approximate country or city, and behaviour on the page (clicks and scrolling), and for that they place small files (cookies) on your device.
- The site also has a simple view counter of its own. It records only the page path and sets no cookie.
Messages and the contact form
- If you send a message, your name, email, phone (if you give one) and the message are stored so I can reply.
- Your IP address is not stored; only an encrypted version of it is kept, to limit how many messages one person can send in a row.
- Newsletter emails are sent only if you ticked the box yourself, and every email has an unsubscribe link.
Account, comments and saved articles
- If you sign up, your email, password (stored encrypted) and the profile details you enter are stored.
- Comments you write are shown under the article with your name. Saved articles are visible only to you.
New-article notifications
- If you turn notifications on, a technical identifier of your browser is stored so I can send you new articles. You can turn them off at any time from the same card or in your browser settings.
Other services
- The site runs on Vercel and its files and images are kept in Cloudflare R2 cloud storage. Data is stored on the servers of these services.
- I do not sell your data and I do not share it for advertising.
Your choices
- To opt out of Google statistics you can install Google's official Analytics Opt-out add-on, or block cookies in your browser.
- To see, correct or delete your data (account, messages, comments), tell me through the contact page.
